Jeffrey is enjoying his job as music teacher at Cortez Elementary School! The Lord is using him to speak into the lives of the children and shine his light in this school setting. He often writes AGAPE on the board and tells the students all about the kind of love which is patient, selfless, never gives up and never fails!
One day while Jeffrey was sharing, the students were so challenged that they began to weep with conviction just before the final bell rang. Teachers were drawn to see what was causing such a wave of emotion in the hallways. The students gathered again in the music room, along with several teachers and the school principal to hear the group of 20-30 5th grade street kids pour their hearts out to one another.
These particular kids had NEVER showed such emotion and were considered one of the toughest groups in the school. The principal was so impressed with what happened that she called it a "break-through" moment for the school and gave Jeffrey the green light to share the exact same message with the schools most hard hearted young preteens as needed throughout the remainder of the year. God gives us favor! He is our sun and our shield!
